The Westerly Storm is a model that is well rated for seaworthiness and performance for its era. This example looks smart with synthetic teak decks and nice woodwork inside. It has a tiller rather than a wheel and an abundance of navigation equipment. The interior of the cockpit looks worn compared with the deck covering so is a candidate for similar treatment. This Sun Odyssey 519 is currently used as a charter boat. I viewed her while she was out of the water for her winter maintenance. When I photographed her I also had the opportunity to meet the team responsible for managing her and for her maintenance. They had already started work on her hull (anti-fouling treatment).
