1987 Wauquiez Centurion 38
Henri Wauquiez established an initially small shipyard in 1965 in Northeastern France. With a strong association with British designers (Hood and Dubois amongst them) the yard specialised in quality offshore sailing boats with both performance and comfort in mind. The Wauquiez Centurion range began with the earliest and smallest, the 32 in 1968 and most recently up to the Centurion 61 which was in production in 2021. The Centurion 38 has all the Wauquiez ethos in abundance. Her powerful sloop rig is easily controlled with lines leading into the cockpit and she feels very safe and secure as... read more

1989 Trident Warrior 40
The Warrior 40 is a capable blue-water cruiser being both sturdy and seaworthy, with great accommodation to live aboard. The forward cabin has plenty of space - the berth is about 7ft in length and the en-suite heads has a hand basin and shower with pump out. 1986 Hood 38
The Hood 38 was designed by world renowned yachtsman and sail maker Ted Hood and built in France by Chantiers Wauquiez. They produced a yacht that shows fusion between the styles of boat design at that time. They were strongly built to a high standard with an excellent reputation for seaworthiness and safe comfortable passage-making. The more European sleek lines make her a very attractive looking yacht and so it's surprising when you go below how spacious she is. This is the Mk II, a vastly improved companionway and interior layout from the early boats which were first produced in 1976. Th... read more

2019 Robertson and Caine Leopard 4500
The Leopard 45 needs no introduction - the 2017 Boat of the Year by Cruising World Magazine. This marks the 7th Cruising World Boat of the Year win by Leopard. The layout of these models on deck and below are simply the best use of the available space. Not only is there the large aft cockpit but foredeck seating - this area is superb on hot days offering shade but breeze while at anchor. The interior, saloon and galley areas are extremely spacious and so are the 4 double cabins and heads. This particular example also has the bow crew cabin via the deck hatch. The L45 will soon h... read more

1895 Tjalk Hollandaise
This Tjalk Hollandaise is a sought-after classic ex-working sailing barge with a huge amount of character and history. She started as a trading barge in the south of Holland, had a brief spell owned by the church as a houseboat during WWII assisting people bombed out of their homes and then was found and restored by two extremely knowledgeable enthusiasts who have both lived aboard and sailed her at sea and through the canals. More recently she has fallen on harder times after the passing of her owner and now needs repainting and possibly some recommissioning before she sails again. Engine ... read more

1972 Moody 44
To me the glorious era for Moody Yachts was the 1970s. Laurent Giles was among the designers who embraced the new GRP construction techniques of the '60s and there followed a strong partnership between him and Moody's for the next decade. The Moody 44 is a strong, well built and good looking offshore cruising yacht with a well balanced rig and seamanlike layout. The side decks are wide and she's easy to move around and everything on deck feels just that bit bigger than it needs to be. When going below she manages to continue to give that secure feeling that sets true offshore yachts apart. ... read more
