Description
Finished right on time for the 2006 Grand Prix P1 powerboat racing series this Peter Berkert designed Aluminium race boat is found in excellent condition.
The hull was built (1986-1989) by Malcome Cole in Poole and left in storage for years until two time European Offshore Champion (on a Lamborghini powered Bertram 38 Competition 1995/1996), Tony Hamilton acquired it and did the rigging and technical lay-out with brand new components and the famous V12 Lamborghini's offshore engines in staggered configuration with Speedmaster outdrives on extension boxes.
It participated in the official training for the 2006 P1 British Grand Prix but didn't participate in the race and has been in dry storage since 2006. With only 6 hours of use this race boat is still like a new boat.
With a lightweight Aluminium hull and powered by twin Mercruiser Lamboghini 630Hp V12's she has plenty of grunt and will put a smile on your face.
Owners comments:
This boat is like a time capsule and whoever is interested in it appreciates, that it is oldschool workmanship and technical design in almost new condition.
