Description
Built in Finland in 1998, and designed by P.O Blomquist, this Steel Cutter Ketch has spent the past 10 years on a round the world voyage with her current owners. She is well cared for and well equipped, ready for wherever her new owners choose to sail her.
This 61ft Steel Blue Water Cruiser 'Teka Nova' is powered by a Sisu Valmet 132hp straight-6 diesel engine, with hydraulic and manual steering system, dual throttle positions, and a Bruntons auto prop. She is also assisted by a Sleipner 225 bow thruster.
She has a 7.5kw Northern Lights diesel generator, a Sea Recovery Aquawhisper watermaker (19 US gallons per hour), a Webasto hot water heating system (11 radiators) and 3x removable deck mounted air conditioning units.
This cutter rigged ketch features over-strength wire standing rigging and furling systems for the main and genoa.
A guest cabin can be found forward offering a double berth, storage cupboards and a ensuite bathroom with powered shower.
To aft is an owners cabin, also with wardrobes and further storage, and an ensuite bathroom with powered shower.
There is a lower dinette area which can also be converted to create an additional double berth.
The deck saloon features a seating area for guests and a hydraulic steering position with chart table.
The galley is well equipped with double sinks with hot and cold water; domestic size fridge/freezer 220v; 12 volt freezer (under floor); microwave combination convection oven, grill and steamer; electric kettle; electric toaster; 220v oven; electric 2 ring ceramic hob with safety trivet; washing machine; electric iron; half-size ironing board; cabin fans; a printer; cutlery; crockery; glasses; pots, pans, etc.
