Description
Remarks :
This Moody 31 is a good example of the Moody 31 Yacht, an ever popular family cruiser, built by Moody in 1984 designed by Bill Dixon of the moody yard. The Moody 31 Yacht is in a class of its own a timeless sailing yacht with quality finishing compromising of a simple well thought through design, making this yacht a delight to be aboard.
Owners Remarks
I have owned the boat for the past 10 years, she has had 3 owners from new. 'Canny Lass' has been lightly cruised over the west coast of the UK by our family and has served us many enjoyable memories.
Accommodation :
Below decks comprise of companionway steps leading down to the main saloon with a well proportioned chart table to port. The L shaped galley is opposite and to starboard comprising of a Plastimo two burner gas cooker with oven and hob. Adjacent to the cooker is a well proportioned fridge with freezer compartment. Aft and starboard of the companionway stairs is a comfortable large berth found in a separate cabin. Access to the rear of the engine can be gained through this starboard rear cabin. Port side aft of the yacht is a well proportioned Jabsco head that will double up as hanging locker. The chart table is ideally situated midships with a forward facing chart table.
The large comfortable saloon comprises of a central opening leaf fixed table with ample seating for four or six . Port and starboard seating in the saloon offers alternative berthing arrangements, ideal for long passage making where the main cabins are left free for a third watch or none sailing guests. A comfortable V berth in the forward cabin compromises of two separate berths that can be made up into a large double using the infill. 'Canny Lass' sleeps six comfortably using two cabins and the saloon.
