Nutmeg is a solid well maintained boat with a lot of charm. She is currently standing on the hard, scrubbed off ready for antifouling and launch.
She has a good strong fibreglass hull and classic wooden superstructure. Recent work includes replacement standing rigging with receipt, gearbox rebuilt with new bearings, cylinder head removed and descaled, prop shaft and prop serviced by Hamble propellers. Wonderful original slow running Sabb engine, meticulous oil changes using the correct 20w/30 classic oil. She has a good S/H main with reefing points added at Batts sails. All in very nice usable condition.
We think most of the photos were taken in 2024, so the varnish and deck paint would benefit from being refreshed this season together with some cosmetic tidying in the cabin.
We have a folder of receipts and previous surveys, the decks were evidently replaced in the 90’s.
Small 2 year old inflatable dinghy included.
