Construction
The hull is of cold moulded wood construction with cascover nylon/epoxy sheathing up to gunwhale sheerline.
The four box girder engine bearers with 10 bilge stringers tied to the 28 frames run the length of the boat which, together with subsidiary structures, provide the necessary torsional and longitudinal stiffness, at minimum weight.
The result is a fast easily driven hull with a particularly high strength to weight ratio, having the ability to maintain sustained high speeds in most sea conditions.
An important feature is the fine entry and considerable flare forward which assures a soft dry ride at higher speeds even in adverse weather conditions; but above all the hull provides the highest degree of seaworthiness with unequalled handling characteristics.
