Description
The F&C 44' Ketch is a 13.4m monohull sailboat designed by German Frers (America Cup, around the World design winner) and built by Alberto Cibil in 1985.
This boat is a modern classic and hull K57 of 60, hand built. She is a rare yacht with lovely lines, a rich wood interior, and great sailing characteristics.
This boat is very well cared for and is in very good condition. She was last lifted out in March 2025 and her underwater hull sanded back to GRP. New antifouling and all anodes replaced. Seacocks, propeller and bearings all serviced. The engine had a full service in February 2025.
Retention of her berth is possible subject to the marina’s agreement and terms and conditions.
Dick Carter the famous yacht designer once said when asked "how do you know which boat is the one, Dick? Dick answered with, "you will hear the violins play". The F&C 44' ketch is a yacht you might just hear the violins play.
The F&C 44' is a fast, beautiful, go anywhere blue-water cruising yacht with a strong fibreglass hull and deck with teak overlay (the deck of this boat was refurbished across the winters of 2020 -2021). The interior is finished with impeccably crafted mahogany. The horizon for this boat is endless.
These boat details are subject to contract.
