A nice example. Volvo Penta MD22 50 hp diesel engine. 3404 hours. Maintained by Stu Davies PBO “engine whisperer” (Google is your friend here to find articles about maintenance on Sacha) for the last 18 years. Regular oil and filter changes with the last change 17 Feb 2026. Full maintenance records in the engine logbook with new injector nozzles fitted a few hundred hours ago. An original Speed Seal raw water pump system was fitted and the latest version is now to hand to be fitted.

A Sterling alternator booster system is fitted for upgraded battery charging. The house batteries are 3 by 110 amp hour batteries and one 85 amp hour starter battery is fitted. There is a BM1 battery monitor fitted.
There is 250 watts of solar panels fitted controlled by a blue tooth Victron controller which can be monitored on your phone. This system allows living off grid in Portugal sunlight.
The auxiliary engine is a Mercury 2.5 hp two stroke engine. Recently overhauled with new bearings seals and water pump impeller fitted. The overhaul is documented in the PBO magazine as are most of the maintenance works.
The aux dinghy is a 2.5 mtr Talamex inflateable, purchased new in 2022 and hardly used. It is stored in a new custom made canvas bag on the transom. There is also a set of chaps for the dinghy.
A new anchor winch, a Lofrans Kobra was fitted in 2022, it has remote control fitted with two handsets.
The main anchor is a Delta with 50 mtrs of 10mm galvanised chain. The kedge anchor is a Danforth type with 25 mm plaited rope.
The navigation and Instrument system is a B&G network system with depth, speed, wind and flux gate compass integrated with the B&G autopilot. Also integrated is a Raymarine colour Radar system and a Standard Horizon GX2200AIS and GPS enabled VHF Marine radio. The VHF radio is fitted below but comes with a RAM mike which is wired to the binnacle so that the VHF can be used from the wheel.
The Chart plotter, a Lowrance 5150c is also integrated in to the navigation system with NMEA 0183 signals fed to a VyachtWifi box which broadcasts wirelessly so that tablets can use nav software to see AIS and navigation data. The chartplotter comes with a GB and Western Med chart chip.
There are two charts on board which cover Portugal and Spain with manual compass dividers and a plastic chart plotter.
An ACR RESQLink PLB,needs batteries changing but it still tests ok
A wheel compass is fitted.
A Navtex receiver is fitted plus a Cobra hand held VHF radio comes with the boat.
An Eberspacher D3 is fitted, not used in Portugal but fired up recently to prove it still works.
A gas detector is fitted but it is unreliable. A std smoke detector and CO detector is fitted.
A standard barometer and clock is fitted along with a temperature gauge for the cabin.
An LG television.
An FM radio with built in CD player.
A standard binoculars 7*50 comes with the boat.
A simple home made passarelle comes with the boat.
4 Lewmar winches are two 30s and two 54s standard as supplied by Beneteau.
There are 1 std 150% genoa and main sail, original with a newer number 3 blade and a gennaker with snuffer and control lines setup for easy deployment. There is also a main orange storm sail.
4 auto life jackets and two lifelines along with lifelines to fit on deck.

A folding bicycle comes with the boat.
There is a 4 man valise liferaft which needs servicing.
There is a set marina main cables and connections along with a mains electric used meter which can be used to check marine mains usage if required.
There are fly screens for all hatches and opening portlights, new saloon portlight glasses were fitted recently along with new seals in all of the port lights.
There is a spinnaker pole for use with the genoa or gennaker.
There is a first aid kit, burn kit and fire blanket on board. Fire extinguishers are on board but will need servicing. Flares are on board but need replacing.
The saloon table drops down to make another berth, cushions and legs are on board
The galley is run on gas mostly with 4 Camping Gaz bottles supplied, 2 full. There is a single hob induction cooker for use in the marina along with an electric kettle and toaster and an electric blender. There is a Brita filter jug on board, filters available from Leroy Merlin etc.
There are cooking utensils (optimised for use on the induction hob) along with eating utensils.
There is a complete set of hand tools on board long with an electric mains drill. Also many spares including a starter motor and new Volvo seal and cutless bearing for the prop shaft. There is a spare B&G autopilot computer in the saloon seat lockers along with masthead wind speed spares.
There is a dinghy “bag” customised to fit under the dinghy seat containing the inflation pump and engine spares and simple tools to change a shear pin etc.
There is an extra folding table and chair along with storage boxes, 20 litre fuel bidons and a large bucket/truckle in the sugar scoop. for all info. VAT paid and proof of being in EU on Brexit day
