Remarks :
Albin Express built by Albin Marine of Sweden to a Peter Norlin design. These have proved very successful boats at club level Europe wide and this particular boat has been a winner for many years in the North East.
Has been in present ownership since 2012 and in that time she has been completely overhauled and modernised. Her hull and topsides are gleaming, have new decals and in great shape. Down below has been renovated with new upholstery, varnish work and storage bags.
Deck stepped rig replaced in 2006 along with standing rigging. Running rigging is a mixture of dyneema and braid all in good order.
Comes complete with suit of Hyde sails including spinnaker. Handy 4 leg yard cradle included in price. Nav aids include compass, VHF and GPS
Accommodation :
Two berth forepeak with settee berth port and starboard in saloon.
Pilot berth on port side.
Cushion fabric is smart blue and yacht is finished with varnished mahogany wood panelling.
Saloon table is attached to the forward bulkhead when required.
The sea toilet is accessed via a hinged cover under the forward bunk.
New space saving tidy-alls organisers attached to interior hull.
Galley:
Galley area on the starboard side, cleverly slides aft and has a sink, gas 2 burner hob, storage unit and hand pumped fresh water.

Mechanical :
Designed by Peter Norlin and built by Albin Marin in Sweden in 1982, this fast racer/cruiser's hull and superstructure is constructed in GRP with sandwich deck for additional strength.
Cast iron fin keel weighing 800Kgs, which is bolted through hull giving a draft of 1.45M.
Transom hung rudder with tiller steering.
Deep self bailing cockpit with locker storage and main sheet traveller.
Large storage locker to stern for fenders and other boat related equipment.
Hull topsides in great shape with new blue decals.
Mechanical:
The boat is powered by a Mariner 4hp 2-stroke outboard situated on bracket at transom.
This long shaft unit has been serviced annually and is great for manoeuvring and pushing the tide.
The present owners only use the internal tank to cut down on unnecessary weight but the fittings are there should an external tank be desired.
12V system providing navigation and cabin lighting as well as power for instruments.
Sails and Rigging:
Fractional 7/8ths, deck stepped silver anodised aluminium mast by Z-Spar replaced and with new stainless steel standing rigging in 2006.
Running rigging is a mixture of Dyneema and racing braid all in good order.
All sails are by Hyde and were introduced in 2015. These include:
Main, No1 jib and spinnaker including pole.
Also available are a serviceable set of sails including No1 jib, No2 Jib and spinnaker
